About Me
|
Hi, I'm Will! I'm a community ecologist investigating the effects of global change and the restoration of threatened ecosystems. By doing this work, I hope to learn how and teach others how to protect our shared world, and what to do in order to maintain it. As of now, my aim is to become a field researcher working with the US Forest Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service or private institution.
From a small town in eastern North Carolina, I have always been interested in the implications of Climate Change and the effect it has on our world. Learning these effects at a community level allows us to predict the impact climate change is having on similar ecosystems across the globe. I'm currently a Master's Biology Student in the Koerner Biodiversity lab at UNCG. I graduated with a Bachelor's in 2021 from UNC-Greensboro's Biology Department. I love space, nature, video games, music and mythology. |
